Meet the Owners of Jellystone Park™ Asheboro
Kent and Jane Emirbayer are the proud owners, builders, and operators of Jellystone Park™ Asheboro in Asheboro, North Carolina.
Kent was born and raised outside Rochester, New York and enjoys building and creating his vision for the campground. Jane grew up outside Washington, DC, where her family enjoyed camping in their Jayco pop-up camper at Kerr Lake and Virginia Beach.
Kent and Jane met when she moved to Rochester, where they both volunteered with Young Life, a high school youth ministry. Together, and as their family grew, they camped in the Adirondacks every summer. During those family camping trips, Kent would often comment that he would love to build and operate a campground of his own.
Their dream became a reality in 2013 when they purchased 100 acres on Crestview Church Road in Asheboro.
Both extroverted, fun-loving family people, Kent and Jane love bringing families together to enjoy God’s beautiful outdoors and create lasting camping memories.
